Let me break down all my recommendations for you!
As you probably saw on my social media, I just signed with 1Up Nutrition as their newest athlete!
As far as protein goes, it is great to take post-workout, but I usually just use it in cooking, like making protein pancakes, protein froyo, and protein ice cream bowls. Really soothes my sweet tooth cravings too. 1Up makes bomb flavors–– they have Coconut Ice cream, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, and Cinnamon French Toast!!! SO GOOD FOR PANCAKES HOLY CRAP.Honestly though my favorite has to be the Coconut Ice Cream that I used in my protein ice cream bowl. HIGHLY recommend!
PREWORKOUT: Preworkout definitely depends on the person. I like taking preworkout that has nitric oxide, energy, and focus complexes in them. 1Up has a pre-workout designed for women called “Her Pump”, if you want to try something new I would recommend that, or the HIIT Aminos- they are BCAA’s but with energy. I love to take them pre-cardio! Talk abut sweat!
Okay now for vitamin supplements. I definitely recommend taking a daily multivitamin. Other supplements that will help with progress are CLA and L-Carnitine, which are also fat-metabolizers. CLA is to be taken 3x daily, before meals. L-Carnitine works best if taken before and after you workout. 1Up makes both. You can also find these at any supplement shop in your area, most have them!
